Scottish local elections 2022: Will your next council make local #CyclingRevolutions happen?
We asked your council's candidates to support two simple asks which would enable more people to cycle - and people to cycle more often - in Scotland.
Unfortunately, we have now closed our 'write to candidate' action. However, you can still find out which candidates showed their support by entering your postcode below.
What's the pledge?
The politicians you elect in May can create high-quality cycle routes and neighbourhoods which are better for people, but only if they use the record levels of funding now available to enable a cycling, walking and wheeling sustainable transport revolution.
And to make sure they step up and make this happen, they need to hear that there’s huge support for cycling from people across Scotland.
Our manifesto for cycling asks candidates to:
- Create a network of safe cycling routes - to enable more short journeys by bike.
- Improve our neighbourhoods - by making more space for people and active forms of travel rather than prioritising space for cars.
