Don’t scrap Scotland’s dashcam safety portal

Financial pressures in Police Scotland are putting a new online road safety system under threat.

You can join us in asking the Chief Constable of Police Scotland not to halt the development of this essential new system which will make it easy to upload and report examples of poor driving behaviour caught on camera.

A coalition of 33 organisations representing motorists, cyclists, horse riders, pedestrians, motorcyclists and road safety advocates called for the portal to be introduced and in March 2022 the Scottish Government confirmed a National Dashcam Safety Portal would be developed.
