The Northern Ireland Audit Office has published a damning report about the Department for Infrastructure’s ability to deliver more cycling and walking routes.

Department officials claim to have tripled investment in active travel. But really, they’ve just reclassified standard road maintenance money as active travel to make it look like they’re spending more.
