Ask for cycle space during lockdown and beyond

Safe space for social distancing is needed across the UK, and cycling must be a key part of our recovery to avoid overcrowding on public transport, crippling congestion and a return to dangerously polluted air.

Governments in England, Scotland and Wales have put forward funding for pop up cycle lanes and widened pavements: ask your council to to use this to create the space we need. If you live in Northern Ireland, we've prepared a similar letter for your MLAs.

Just fill in your details below and you'll be able to edit and send your letter asking your local representatives to take action.

If you've already written to your council and you're based in England, click here to send a follow up email. If you're in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, we aren't asking you to send another email at this stage, but please do share the action with your friends, family and colleagues.
